J2EE Integration Engineer
Startup (1998) Web hosted applications service provider in Bell-town who is a provider of a transportation management solution which allows shippers, consignees and carriers to collaborate in real time is looking for (two) 2 J2EE software engineers.
Summary: Work with logistics industry clients to qualify needs, formulate implementation plans and determine optimal solution 'fit' for the company's offering.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, plan & manage client expectations to ensure satisfaction.
- Analyze client logistics and/or transportation E-commerce processes.
- Gather client business process data; document client integration profile.
- Provide technical leadership in client integration.
- Consult with integration partners as required to ensure solid implemented solution.
- Proficient in J2EE, XML in a rapid development environment.
- Experience and skill managing client expectations and solving problems.
- At least 5 to 7 years of IT experience with significant OO background and at least 2 to 3 years of Java.
- RDBMS experience preferably with Oracle, SQL Server or DB2.
- XML and XML tools (frameworks, parsers, etc.)
- Implementation knowledge of prevalent standards such as (any of) RosettaNet, Biztalk, ebXml, etc.
- Distributed Computing experience (CORBA, EJB)
- Experience with Messaging and middleware products (any of MQSeries, MessageQ, IBM Solutions or Vitira or Tibco or WebMethods or ActiveWorks) is a plus.
- Knowledge of UDDI and ebxml is a plus
- Prior experience in EDI implementation is a great plus.
- Proven team player capable of working in "virtual" environment.
- Strong communication/presentation skills both technical and non-technical.
Bachelor's Degree (In technology preferred)
